Original WW2 1942 Willy's jeep from new guinea. This Jeep was used in Finschafen by the US Army air force and later used in Lae.

Exported to Australia 30 years ago.

It is original except for the new top, it has a NOS (war time) crate engine in it from the depot in Lae with less than 20 hours on it, runs, drives, was road registered.

solid body and running gear, has been painted once in PNG but otherwise very original.

WW2 Royal Navy Grumman F6F Hellcat wing flap.

This flap came of a British carrier based Hellcat fighter shortly after WW2.

Many of the US supplied lend lease aircraft based at Royal navy air stations in Australia at the end of WW2 were disposed of by dumping them into the sea, for this purpose holes were punched in the skins to help them sink, however this flap "fell off the truck" on the way to being dumped and has survived in very good condition.

It has original but flaking paint but minimal surface corrosion, good fittings, it would need a new skin to fly again or patches to keep it static.

Imperial Japanese type 93 'long lance' torpedo used by the imperial Japanese navy, front explosive payload section only.

Inspection marks show Showa 19.5 (May 1944 Gregorian calendar).

This torpedo failed to detonate in New guinea and was captured with the explosives being removed by the us navy.

Still has most other parts like proximity fuses etc

Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah engines

Engine #1 This is an incomplete Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah engine that was used on an RAAF Avro Anson, it has no crank, but it has mags, case, cyclinders, heads, one new old stock cylinder and various other small parts.

Engine #2 This is an incomplete Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah engine that was used on an RAAF Avro Anson, it has a case, crank, rods, one cylinder head and some spares

Out of the two you may be able to get an engine running or build as a static display.

Carrier 1:

Bren carrier Strickland conversion (Australian Company Strickland tractor conversion using surplus Australian LP Carriers, post WW2), has diff and engine, fair condition with base rusted out

EX-RAAF Avro lincoln engine mount / bearer, for the Rolls Royce Merlin V12 engine.

The mount looks identical to a Lancaster mk iii except it has the addition of an extra reinforcement tube, however it may be the same as late model Lancasters from mk iv and on.

Complete with coolers, induction trunk, spitfire thermostat, one exhaust panel, some outlet panels, cowling panels etc.

This will clean up well and suit display or a test rig running merlin or packard merlin engines for ground runs, very solid frame.
