Imperial Japanese type 93 'long lance' torpedo used by the imperial Japanese navy, front explosive payload section only.

Inspection marks show Showa 19.5 (May 1944 Gregorian calendar).

This torpedo failed to detonate in New guinea and was captured with the explosives being removed by the us navy.

Still has most other parts like proximity fuses etc
